ANICET LAVODRAMA CHOSES VILAGARCIA DE AROUSA AS THE STARTING POINT OF #ASIS2017 SUMMER GRAND SPORT TOUR
- Asis Sport Spain will return to Vilagarcía de Arousa in June to host the Showbasket Cognitive Training Skills Camp under the under the direction of ACB League All Time great Anicet Lavodrama and coach and psychologist Carlos Bernabé, creator of the “Cognitive Training” method.
- The activity will once more count on the support of the Sports Foundation of the Council and the CBL Vilagarcía, and as a important novelty, due to the great reception showcased at the last edition, the duration will be increased starting on the 26th of June.
Málaga, 25th of APRIL 2017.- Faithful to their appointment with formation and after the successful Clinic which served as the final stage of the skills training tour of last summer, ASIS SPORT and Anicet Lavodrama have the great pleasure returning to Vilagarcía de Arousa to, this time around, start the 2017 summer event transferring the attractive format where they bet on the sports cognitive training format for basketball.
The exceptional welcome the clinic had at last year’s event, was key to the ASIS GLOBAL SPAIN, to want unequivocally that the province of Pontevedra and concretely Vilagarcía to be the starting stage of its summer grand sports training tour. due to the great reception showcased at the last edition, the duration will be increased starting on the 26th of June up until the 8th of July in intense morning and afternoon sessions.
The Liga ACB great Anicet Lavodrama, very much linked to Galicia (9 seasons with OAR Ferrol) and Olympian with the Central African Republic, will once again work alongside a first level coach in Carlos Bernabé, psychologist and superior level basketball coach , creator of the “ShowBasket Cognitive Training” method and expert in cognitive and skills development of players and athletes, having worked with clubs such as Estudiantes, Torrelodones and Coslada, as well as benefitting with his specific experience to the ACB roster of Baloncesto Fuenlabrada.
On another end, Jorge Molinero, director of the center “ 13Body” in the city of Vigo, former player and a B.A. in Physical and Sports Activity and superior nutrition dietician specialist , will be in
charge of imparting advanced activation techniques, cardio coordinative dynamics and the management of high intensity minutes from an emotional and physical perspective.
With this proposal, ASIS Sport emphasizes visualization applied to elite sports and seeks that the whole family be involved in the socio and sports education of the young participating student athletes , making this next edition of the Showbasket Cognitive Training Camp an opportunity that the athletes cannot not take advantage of with the objective to optimize their aptitudes under the Asis model, in which the psychological element for the participant is a key component. Also it is conducted in small restricted groups with personalized attention to details, all geared at the continuous formation and development of the players and athletes, as well as for the coaches who are willing to apply to the Clinic and further their learning process. The program that will be developed is based on overall global skills improvement, shooting mechanics, and back to the basket together with face to the basket inside post skills; generating abilities which focus on decision making, favoring the concentration process, increased confidence level and learning to overcome errors.
In collaboration with the Sports Foundation of Vilagarcía de Arousa Council and CLB Vilagarcía, the current edition of the clinic will take place in the “Pabellón Deportivo of IES Miguel Ángel González high school of Carril (Rúa Marie Curie, 1) and for all players aged 11 to 22 years old, and coaches.
The application price is 290€ (165€ if you belong CBL Vilagarcía) for players, and 150€ (100€ for CBL Vilagarcía) for coaches.
